Chairman & Director Benelux

"The meaning of our lives lies in the difference we make in the lives of others"

I am Said El Amraoui, a knowledge migrant. I have been living in the Netherlands since 2004. I graduated as a Master in Biology. In the Netherlands I studied Physiotherapy. Despite my studies I still chose my passion “traveling” and made it my full-time job. I am currently a Tour Operator and Strategist. I work from the Benelux. My sales market is the MENA region: Jordan, UAE, Qatar, etc.

I am also internationally certified in Personal Coaching (NLP, mBraining) and Spiritual Care. I also have my own communications agency DivIn.

I do a lot of things at the same time and I don't really have time for it, but I can't or don't want to drop anything. I find everything I do important for one reason or another. If it's not for myself, then it's for my loved ones: family, friends, the average citizen here in the Netherlands or whoever!

Furthermore, I am socially involved in various projects through my foundation AtlasBridges.org. An example of one of my recent/current projects is making people aware of more exercise and healthier living. I am also active in SDGs and D&I.

I am very social and can get along with most people. I also have many passions in my life, including photography, meditation, sports (running and surfing), gastronomy and architecture.

In recent years I have coached quite a few Startups and helped them get started with their own business. When I was introduced to NLP I thought that my coaching would probably be even more effective if I applied NLP techniques to these different target groups. In addition, it offered me new opportunities for self-development.

In the meantime, this has indeed proven to be very successful, alhamdulillah!

Where it all began

Discover how one event led to a much bigger mission.

On December 22nd In 2003 I arrived from Morocco. It was on a Tuesday at 21:00, I can still remember. The next day my first language lesson was scheduled at the UvA on the Spuistraat on the 3rd floor. My fellow students had already started their language course three months earlier. In June 2004 I had to either have my NT2 or an entrance exam at the HvA where I wanted to follow the Computer Science program. A big challenge for someone who had just come from Morocco. I wrote an advertisement and had it hung up all over the building. In this advertisement I asked Dutch students to help me learn Dutch and in return I would give them French lessons. The next day no less than 30 candidates had signed up! I organized a group meeting. These individuals had the intention to help me master the Dutch language in a short period of time. At the same time they hoped to improve their French language level. I started meeting weekly with this group. Within a few weeks, the group began holding other meetings, with attendances five times the original. It seemed that students in Amsterdam were thirsty for Diversity, and this group filled a void.

Since then, the bridge builders have continued to organize events to raise DivIn (Diversity & Inclusion) awareness and encourage activism. The activities aim to strengthen active citizenship while maintaining their own identity. They are educational programs for local youth and students, organizing debates, study trips, walks and environmental actions to provide a platform for various current regional, national and international themes.
