MOROCCO
The Moroccan-Dutch community is the largest community in the Netherlands in terms of size, after the community of Dutch people without a migration background and the Turkish-Dutch community. According to Statistics Netherlands (CBS), 421,026 Moroccans live in the Netherlands in 2022, of which slightly more are of the second generation than of the first generation. Some Moroccan Dutch people speak one of the Berber languages and dialects at home. Another part speaks Moroccan Arabic at home. The younger generation often speaks Dutch among themselves.
