The AtlasBridges has a long history


The AtlasBridges Foundation has undeniably had a turbulent history! AtlasBridges was founded as a student organization in 2002. This young organization, evident from its activities, had a strong service character; In this way, the foundation met the needs of its members. In the meantime, the number of AtlasBridges members (students, parents, young people) grew and the aforementioned AtlasBridges services proved to be relatively successful.

But the foundation not only rediscovered its roots in the field of conviviality. As an organization it also acted more and more professionally. At the beginning of 2008, the AtlasBridges institute was founded, a department where students can be helped by graduates, among others, with their complaints about, for example, the education system, in addition to offering internships. Both departments now operate under the name AtlasBridges foundation. An organization that operates with three centers is unique in the Netherlands.

In 2009, the AtlasBridges foundation is an influential and strong organization with more than 236,000 emails in its file and many volunteers, of which approximately 20 are active. Issues that AtlasBidges has been involved in in recent years include organizing massive student debates, concerts, benefit concerts, campaigns. offering courses, internships, vacancies for members and the implementation of dozens of projects within higher education, social, societal and cultural areas, assistance to development areas in, among others: Morocco, Jordan, Turkey, Suriname and Greece and so on.
